We walked in as a party of four for dinner on the Monday before Christmas. The place was packed and the people kept coming. Note to self: make a reservation next time. Anyway, they told us the wait would be at least an hour and we were okay with that. To our surprise, they seated us within 40 minutes. Not bad! Our waitress was friendly and attentive though maybe let a little too much time go by before actually taking our food order. Everything came out pretty quickly so that made up for it. We had the crab cakes, scallops and risotto, steak sandwich, and filet mignon meatloaf. Everyone was pretty stuffed and pleased with their dishes. Ambiance was a little loud since we were seated pretty close to the packed bar but the place calmed down a bit later in our dinner. The last part that surprised me was that someone actually called me from my Resy notification request. When we learned the wait time, I hopped on Resy and requested that I be notified if any tables opened up. We had already been seated by the time someone called me but it was reassuring to know that they do actually take the time to call and notify you!

Today we are here for Christmas Eve. The food was amazing as usual. It was quite tasty. Our service was excellent. Jeep, our server was very attentive and checked in on us a few times. The ambience was very festive. The Christmas decorations were festive.

First time here for brunch this past weekend and had the best time. Our waiter was SO good. Unfortunately did not catch his name but he was so personable, friendly and patient with us (we were a large party). Food was good! Highly recommend the French toast. Easily can be shared between two. Their blood orange mimosa was so good too, highly recommend that as well. We were sat on the patio which was perfect. It was a bit chilly outside but they had plenty of heaters to keep us warm! Overall, great experience here, I would definitely come back for brunch!

Great dining spot! We came here for a birthday dinner and they were able to accommodate our larger party. The service was fantastic and our server was attentive. The food was absolutely delicious! The asparagus fries were so crispy and paired with their chipotle sauce was a great blend of flavors. The ravioli pasta was so savory and the beignets were the perfect sweet treat to end the meal. It's a great spot for date night or for celebrating a birthday dinner. Highly recommend!

We are frequent fliers at Elbow Room and always have the best experience whenever we come. The food is delicious, and the service is top-notch. You can tell that a lot of care goes into every dish, and the owner is very personable and approachable. Shirinian truly cares about his customers, and it shows. He's often out on the floor, socializing with guests and making sure all of his customers are happy. It's rare to find someone so kind and invested in creating a wonderful dining experience. Shirinian truly makes us feel like part of the family each time that we come. It's rare to find a spot where everything--from appetizers to dessert--is consistently amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. We'll keep coming back for more!

Elbow Room has been around since 1955 and is in its 3rd home at Fig Garden Village! I've been coming here for years and has always been a social hub of Fresno! Mike Shirinian is always changing the atmosphere of the restaurant to keep current and having a nice vibe! The patio is a good place to hang out in the Fresno hot summer with the misters and the winter with the heaters. They installed a large window in the back part of the restaurant to add light and "life" to that back area. Elbow Room does have one of the largest bars in Fresno besides being an icon to Fresno. I've had most of the items on the menu and some of my favorites are: Sourdough Round ($7.5), Sautéed Portobello Mushrooms ($18) This was Basketball Coach Jerry Tarkanian's favorite!!Filet Mignon Meatloaf ($24), and Dry Aged 28 day Filet Mignon and New York steaks! Today I started with the chicken posole soup and Salmon Salad ($31)- Avocado, candied pecans, asparagus, carrots, red cabbage, citrus vinaigrette. I also tried one of Mike's Picks Wines- 2019 Craggy Range Pinoit from New Zealand. After lunch we wanted to check out Elbow Room Market that they put in during the Covid pandemic that was the area of a banquet room in the past. This market features all the Dry Aged meats in special coolers that are served in the restaurant but you can buy to take home. 8 oz. -2 pack Filet Mignon ($39.49), 28 day 2 pack Dry Aged Rib-eye ($84.99), 2 pack New York ($74.99), Kurobuto Bone-in Pork Chop ($14.99/lb) I bought one of these to take home and it was soooo good!! Tender, juicy and Hoisin marinated. See my pic on this! They also have fine bourbons, whiskey, and tequila not to mention one of the largest wine lists in Fresno and recognized by Wine Spectator!! Come by and see and be seen!!

Tried this place for the first time. My husband always comes here and tells me that we need to try it so was excited to do so finally. The service was great and the waitress was so nice and helpful. The food was good. The only issue we had was the fried asparagus (cannot remember what it was actually called) was too hard to eat. The waitress said it was not suppose to be this way so she took it back. We didn't have them remake it as our food was going to come out shortly anyway. The steak was nice and tender and my mashed potatoes were so flavorful. I got a margarita and it was so good. I will definitely come back.

Great location in the Fig Garden Plaza. I love the patio ambience. The weather is perfect right now, but even in cooler weather they have a fireplace and heaters. The service by Crystal was great. I ordered a limoncello martini. I was hoping for more lemon flavor. The clam chowder was excellent. Unfortunately, the spicy Thai salad was not good at all. I am not sure where the spice comes in, as I tasted no flavor or salad dressing. The soba noodles did not mesh with the salad in my opinion. It needed something crunchy to counter the greens. My girlfriend liked her shrimp tacos. I gave 4 stars because I like the atmosphere, but I would definitely try something different next time.

Lovely bar and grill within walking distance of my AirBnB. Had and iced caramel latte served in a martini type glass which was fun. Ordered the Chilaquiles Rojas at the suggestion of my server Jessica R. They were delicious with just the right amount of spice for this gringa from Montana. I then had mango sorbet with fresh blueberries and strawberries for dessert. Note that it was 3 scoops of sorbet and had I known that I would have had one of raspberry. Jessica was friendly and professional. While it was not inexpensive it was delicious and worth the price.

We went with a group of people after the races party of 11, didn't have reservations, but they got us in within 10 minutes. They sat us in the patio, by the bar. Everyone was attentive, professional and quick. The ambiance is great, they have a butchers market, you can purchase excellent choices of liquor wine, tequila, whiskey, and prime rib, filet and New York steak. The food is definitely 5 star rating!!!! I got the filet meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans . It was so tasty, tender and filling.. My husband got the prime rib he said it was the best prime rib he has had. We were impressed with this restaurant. Highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed!
